1. The software is not working?

There may be the following reasons:

• Accessibility service and other permissions are not obtained or are withdrawn by the system.
  • Then go to the permission page, reacquire the permission, and confirm that you have obtained other important permissions (opens new window).
• Accessibility service is down (check if the fixed notification is still there?)
  • Go to the system settings, find accessibility services, select "seeNot" in the list and reopen it.
  • On some systems it will be located under Accessibility -> Downloaded Services.
  • If it is displayed as "Service Failure" or still seems on, it is recommended to close the service and then open it again.
• If you can't solve it, you can go to the software settings page of seeNot to get the system log directory, then find the latest log and send it to the author for consultation.

2. The rules cannot be set as expected?

Because some software restricts accessibility services from crawling its page information, you may encounter the following situations:

• Unable to get the id of an element on the page.
• Unable to get the text of an element on the page.
• Previously set rules may no longer work.

In addition, due to the development method used by the target app, the following situations may also exist:

• You thought it was a different page (Activity), but it is actually the same page (Activity).
• The text you see is actually a picture, so you can't get it.
• May not be recognized as in the current software.
• Certain text or element ids may appear multiple times in the same page, or appear in multiple pages, resulting in over-sensitivity.

In such a situation, it is recommended to adopt another way to set the rules, for example:

• Wanted to probe on this page, but detecting Activity doesn't work.
  • then detect a representative id or text instead.
• I want to detect a certain text, but just can't get it.
  • Instead, detect the id of another characteristic and unique element, or detect other text, or try to detect the coordinate.
• Multiple occurrences of a literal or element's id.
  • Replace with another id or text.
